I truly believe that being a photographer is something I was always meant to be; to be the one to provide one of the most cherished things humans possess, photographs. There is something so special and pure about telling your unique story through photos, that will eventually become old memories. I think about how these photos will look and feel when taken out of an old box or an old hard drive generations from now. It really is my greatest honor to document timeless imagery for you to cherish and hold close.

What does documentary style photography mean? It is a style of photography that documents people, places and events exactly as they happen, resulting in a story that is told through photographs.
I approach wedding days with a relaxed timeline we have set in place to allow me the time to step back and capture the big and little moments as they unfold. While you have the luxury of allowing yourself enough time to truly enjoy this day, and know that I am capturing it all!. I will never stage or fake a moment. I try to keep things as organic as possible. When it comes to more coordinated photos like family photos of course I will help guide you. I will also be on the look out for any in between moments that happen during the curated photos!
What inspires me? I find inspiration in many things as a photographer. Some of them being; movies, vintage film, light, observing real life situations, traveling, everyday human connection, playfulness, intimacy, romance, nature, textures, earth tones, soft colors, movement, wind, the sun, the rain, the snow and so much more!

STORYTELLING SESSIONS
Engagement and couples sessions are one of my absolute favorite things to shoot! With me, they may be a little different than what you could be used to seeing. I like to call them "Storytelling Sessions," because that is what my end goal is, to tell your love story before the next chapter of your lives together begins. Or maybe you're not engaged but want to document this special relationship and time in your life!
Storytelling sessions have more planning ahead involved. We will first come up with a theme, location and date that makes sense. Then, we will collaborate and think of an activity or any props to add in. Finally, we will plan your perfect outfits to fit our well thought out plan. This session is very intentional, but will feel very "us." With all of the detailed planning between the three of us, we will create something completely unique to the two of you!! And that will help establish so much more significant meaning behind your photos.
My version of engagement photos
I love to be outdoors as much as possible! Camping, hiking, walking my dogs, relaxing on my deck, boating and so much more. My favorite thing of all is traveling and adventuring to new places. It truly takes my creativity to another level!
OUTDOORSY TRAVELER
Gabe and I have two rescue fur babies who are our entire world. Luna an 11 year old Siberian Husky and Leo, a 7 year old White German Shepherd. We are also both vegan and truly wouldn't hurt a fly! I even keep an animal rescue kit in my car and have saved countless animals :)

What sets myself and my work apart from others is the deep compassion I have for people. It truly means so much to create something so meaningful for someone else! I get so excited to become apart of your journey that I truly put my entire heart into the whole experience and

What makes your photography experience unique?
I started experimenting with photography as a young girl since I grew up with a mom as a professional photographer! I started to chase the dream of turning that hobby into a career in 2016, which is when I shot my first wedding! In 2019 I quit my 9-5, and went full time into this business of mine and I haven't looked back since!
How long have you been a photographer?
I don't have a limit on how many photos I will give you. I will edit and deliver all of the good ones, promise! To give you and Idea, I would say about 75+ photos an hour is average.

The second we had our first consultation with Madison we knew she was the one! She is so personable and made us feel less stressed about our wedding day. My husband and I do not take professional photos... ever but when we had our engagement session, she made us feel like pros! Before our wedding day Madison helped us with our timeline and honestly answered and gave her opinion on almost everything wedding related that we asked. On our special day, Madison made it so fun, kept us on our timeline, made not only us but our families and wedding party feel special. The love and emotions she captured were beyond anything we could have asked for. Invest in Madison!! She is truly amazing at what she does and goes above and beyond for you as a couple. Madison was absolutely everything we hoped for in a photographer and MORE. She was very organized starting with our initial meet-up through our wedding day, and was one of the few constants we could rely on while planning through the pandemic. It was so nice to know that no matter what our wedding day ended up looking like we would have beautiful photos to cherish forever! My husband and I had limited experience getting our photos taken professionally, so we were a bit nervous, but Madison has the most infectious energy and positivity that immediately put us at ease. Our photos feel so natural and authentic to us. You will not be disappointed! She genuinely cares so much about her art AND the couples she works with. She eagerly gives her professional opinions when you need/ask for them but also is very committed to making sure you get what you want on your day. Hiring Madison as our wedding photographer was the single best decision I made about our wedding. With her, you get so much more than just a photographer. You get a kind human who cares about you as a couple and not just as a client. Madison is organized and super prepared! She takes her role so seriously and is so great at communicating with you from the day you book to the day you get your photos back! Madison makes you feel so comfortable and at ease that getting photos taken becomes truly just a fun time. Like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a camera! When I look at our elopement and engagement photos from Madison, I think “that was such a fun memory" not just a good photo of us posing for a photo. Even my husband who really hates getting photos taken was like “that was actually really fun.” I never knew how important it would be to have good memories associated with our photos until Madison made that happen. Madison went so far above and beyond as a photographer! She helped us with the timeline for our day to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. When we settled on a sunrise elopement and I couldn’t find anyone to do my makeup at 5am, she hooked me up with an eyelash artist who got me in for lashes so I could do my own makeup but still have amazing lashes. She helped us pick out outfits for our engagement photos to make sure we were comfortable and coordinated. Madison truly became a friend.
